Two Roll Straightening
These machines, with a very strong frame, have been designed for straightening ferrous and non-ferrous bars.
The simple execution and its strong frame ensure a precious job for both in-line operation, in connection with drawing and peeling machines and out-line, for separate bar processing.
The upper roll is concave, specially made to work with several materials and powered by a D.C. motor at variable speed. Its position can be adjusted according to bar diameter, very accurately by centesimal steps.
The top performance of these machines are allowed by an additional adjustment, made over the angle of roll axis.
The lower roll is convex, it is also powered by a D.C. motor at variable speed and the angle between its axis and machine axis can be adjusted as well.
The side guides are specially made to match the roll profiles, they can be easily opened and drive bars smoothly without jamming.
Two conveyors are completing the machine: they can be adjusted in height in order to guide4 the bars firmly and exactly from the start till the end of processing.
An optional electronic adjusting system is available upon request, it gives the possibility of full automated processing.
A group of load cells can also be mounted as optional: they will show the actual load over the bar under process: a very important information when the bars under processing have a very sensible molecular structure.
